Welcome to the Digital Mission branch of the District's Mission Team!
Did you know that 95% of the UK population are internet users?
We are living in an increasingly digital age, and at this time of rapid cultural, technological and organisational change, a shared understanding of digital mission and online church is an important way to pursue the District's vision together.
The digital world holds a huge number of opportunities for the church to meet people where they're at which, for more and more people, is online.
As a Mission Team, we are committed to equipping the circuits and churches within the Northampton District to use digital effectively to reach out to their local communities. To find out more about what we can offer you, read on to hear about our Digital Enabler's role in the District.
Canva Training Webinar Series:
Starting in September, Naomi (Digital Enabler) will be running a 3-part Canva training webinar series with each session progressing on the skills learnt in the previous one.
This is a great opportunity to upskill yourself in an easy-to-use design tool, enabling you to create simple and effective graphics for use in your Circuits and Churches.

As the District's Digital Enabler, Naomi Ensor will create content for and manage the District's social media channels and website, and will be running a project to set up an internal communications newsletter.
She also runs digital training sessions (both online and in person) for the circuits and churches across the District. These training sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the circuit or church, and could cover anything from using social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc), to how to use Canva (an online graphic design tool), to creating a social media strategy.
If you would like to have an informal discussion about the training needs of your circuit or church (for both ordained and lay people), or would like to find out more about using digital in your setting, don't hesitate to reach out! Naomi is also very happy to help you work through any digital challenges you might be having, so do drop her an email if that would be useful.
