Love is Listening – are you ?

It's arguably one of the greatest gifts you can give.

Listening.

That God loves you unconditionally is a universal and transformative truth.
It's an edict without strings attached.

Yet we often overlook what is arguably one of our greatest and most affecting attributes; the power to listen. Not just fleetingly or in a half-hearted way, but to give time, space and patience for someone to be heard. Heard in such a way that is non judgemental, free from interruptions and unencumbered by the noise or distractions of modern day life.

We know that when church is listening to all those who surround it, we become all the Spirit calls it to be. That's why this initiative is so vital; to help forge that path to being growing, inclusive, evangelistic and justice-seeking.

Love is Listening encapsulates that most sacred of love. It helps us to create sturdy and deep roots in grace, whilst at the same time extending our hands to share that love.

It all begins with listening.
